FRONUTS

The Fronut is a pastry created and trademarked in 2016 by Fryup food blogger Honey Siskin.  It comprises a donut that is filled with flavoured cream and deep-fried, before being glazed, coated in batter, and re-fried.  The Fronut was introduced at a pop-up bakery in Fryup following a social media campaign, and within hours a line of over 100 people had formed outside the shop to buy it.  Versions of the Fronut are now available worldwide.  Soaring close to 1,000 calories a pop, the Fronut has been described as one of the most unhealthy foods on the planet.
