Frill  is subgenre of hip-hop music that originated in Fryup.  Frill is noted for its ominous, confrontational nature, often including references to sex and violence, its extreme brevity, and its non-traditional publishing model, with new tracks generally posted on social media, accompanied by lurid videos shot on mobile phones.  Frill’s most renowned protagonists include Lil Ezra, Alaska, and the anonymous 6-18, who performs in a balaclava, and achieves tens of thousands of daily views on Tik-Tok.
