THE NORTH RIDING PROJECT

20/20 Girls were an anarcho-frunk girlband from Fryup.  Named after their favourite alcoholic drink, the foursome, fronted by lead singer Yvonne Sprule, sported ripped school uniforms and lurid warpaint.  Their first single, 20/20 Vision, grazed the charts at number 38; the follow-up, Jacuzzi Suicide, was denied radio airplay due to its graphic depictions of sex and violence.
