HELLDALE

Deep, dark and precipitous, Helldale’s name is thought to derive from Hel, the Norse goddess of the underworld.  Amid its tumble of violent fissures are many unexplored caves and gorges, including a tunnel said to stretch ten miles out to the sea cliffs at Roxby.  Helldale is reputed to be the domain of the Wolves, a fabled band of feral children who are said to have roamed the Fryup region for generations.
