FRAPP, or Fryup Apparel, was a clothing brand established by school friends Coco Sprule and Pierre Siskin. The self-proclaimed “epitome of rural cool”, FRAPP used images of local teenagers in revealing outfits to advertise its range of contemporary outdoors wear, including jodphurs, cowboy boots, and hunting jackets. In 1992, FRAPP’s claims of locally sourced, ethically produced garments were debunked when it was revealed their products were actually imported from Chad.
