SABBATH

But the most touching sight is when of a sabbath morning the multitudes come pressing in from the neighbouring villages and hamlets, some threading the daisied fields or sylvan groves, some the green honeysuckled bye-lanes, others with gentle and instructive converse, passing slowly along the roadside pathways; all intent on the one great object – the worship and glory of the Infinite.
