Somebody had given me a script and on the title page of the script it said ‘Kids by the world-famous writer Harmony Korine’, and as soon as I read that I was fascinated and had to meet Harmony. Having read the script I was really eager to be involved. That’s what it said on the byline, ‘by the world-famous writer Harmony Korine’. I was just completely captivated.
