Scenery is like a beautiful girl; she must have good bone structure, her bumps and hallows must be in the correct places, and she can improve on nature by using cosmetics.  In scenery, the rocks take the place of the girl’s bones; the action of water and ice carve and caress the hills and valleys; man can make or mar nature’s own beauty.
