FRILLY PINK

Frilly Pink was an imprint of Fryup Publishing that specialised in erotica.  Frilly Pink published over 250 titles between 1992 and 2009, including The Sexploits of Suzy, purportedly an anonymous schoolgirl diary, which spawned a film of the same name, and several increasingly spurious sequels, including Suzy in Paradise and Suzy in Space.  In 2008, Frilly Pink published Springtime at Hawsby High, a posthumous collection of juvenalia by the self-styled dandy and adventurer Gilbert Thorsby.  Critics derided Frilly Pink’s output, proposing that it was mostly written under pseudonyms by “tittering, Razzle-reading teenage boys”.
