
Fryup pizza restaurant Friggo’s is famous for inventing the Tahitian pizza – with its unique and hotly divisive topping of local kippers, mangoes and Bounty bars. Friggo’s founder, Treasure Sprule, says the pizza was conceived to celebrate the voyages of local explorers like Captain Cook. “You go from from the Fryup fish docks to the South Seas in a single bite,” says Treasure. “it truly is a taste of paradise”.
