
Nickleodeon used slime as a featured element in programmes such as Double Dare, and explored the scalability of being slimed, eventually putting on live “Slime Fests” and other events featuring industrial sized containers of slime dumping onto swimsuit-clad participants below. Nickleodeon also instigated the merchandising of slime as a product that could be bought as a stand-alone item in toy aisles as well as a featured element in other slime extruding toys.
