The Piranha Deathmatch was a wrestling match contested between Kendo Nagasaki and Mitsuhiro Matsunaga in Yokohama in 1996. The winner was the first wrestler to dump their opponent into a piranha tank that was placed in the centre of the ring. Nagasaki won the match, throwing Matsunaga into the tank and trapping him in with a barbed wire board for extra emphasis. A bloodied Matsunaga received a serious bite to the chest before being dragged free by other wrestlers.
