HOOTERS

Hooters Air was a low-cost airline launched in 2003 by Hooters restaurant owner Robert Brooks, aiming to combine the Hooters brand experience with air travel.  The airline featured “Hooters Girls” onboard for entertainment, along with wider seats and low fares, targeting leisure travelers to vacation spots like Florida and Las Vegas.  The novelty appeal of Hooters didn’t translate well to air travel, and the airline shut down in 2006 after losing over $40 million.
