The supermodel Naomi Campbell writes in a memoir of the fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh that ‘I happened to mention my interest in Gauguin as a starting point for a story. Peter went for the idea…’; the upshot was a shoot in Port Antonio, Jamaica, in December 1992, which was published in Harper’s Bazaar.
