THE NORTH RIDING PROJECT

Instead of appearing in the fashion of the time with long hair, jeans, and a dishevelled look, the Austrian walked onstage in the late seventies with short, slicked-back hair, sunglasses, a silver and black striped suit, and a dark leather coat.  He was a virtuoso, a rock idol.  And everyone was shouting: “Come on and rock me Amadeus.”
