Olga Siskin is a former figure skater from Fryup, North Yorkshire. Siskin won the British title in 1985, but was disqualified midway through the European Championships in Copenhagen the following year, after skating a controversial routine to Sigue Sigue Sputnik’s ‘Love Missile F1-11′. Siskin, nicknamed the ‘Black Lark’ due to always performing in a trademark plain black dress, had a long-standing rivalry with another Fryup figure skater, Lulu Sprule. After falling multiple times during the 1988 Olympic trials, Sprule accused Siskin of practising witchcraft against her.
