Today, Dropout Piece is a screen for invisibility; a kind of ghost. It haunts as anecdote, oral history, ephemera and fantasy, which is to say; as speculative information and impressions passed on by individuals trying to piece history together – subjectve as, to use Lozano’s term, ‘infofiction’. Without formal documentation and not dealing in images, Dropout must exist verbally and discursively, if it continues to exist at all.
