I have the world, the flesh, and the devil to fight against as long as I am in this world; its riches, pleasures, honours, and all its vanities, blessed be God, I have under my feet. The flesh, such as pride, anger, covetousness, self-love, love of the world, and the devil, by grace I find to be overcome with ease. We read in 1 John v. 18, that “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God, keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.”
