RICHARD “LOCKY” THORSBY: Eldest son of Major Marmaduke and Lady Penelope Thorsby.  Schooled at Ampleforth; homosexual. Spent time in a psychiatric unit.  Disclaimed his inheritance and announced his intention to become an adventurer.  Disappeared during an attempt to walk from Fryup to N’Djamena, the capital of Chad.

BEATRICE “TRIXIE” THORSBY: Notorious “wild child”, supposedly kidnapped by the Fryup Liberation Front, subsequently admitted being complicit.  Moved to London and briefly became a model and “It Girl”; then a homeless heroin addict. Rescued by Cyrus Thorsby, currently resides in an annex at Fryup Hall.  

HENRIETTA “HONEY” THORSBY: Former national junior tennis champion who appeared briefly on the professional tour, and international equestrian rider.  Married German equestrian champion and businessman Dieter Winkler; resides near Munich.

CYRUS THORSBY: Art dealer; married performance artist Tammy Sprule; established the Thorsby Foundation, which funded FICA, the Fryup Institute of Conceptual Art, and the annual Fryup Prize for emerging conceptual and performance artists.  Inherited Fryup Hall following the death of his father, Major Marmaduke Thorsby.
