The game was Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and the occasion was the semi-finals of the Evolution Championship Series 2004. Daigo, having only one pixel left of health, pulls off 17 consecutive parries of a super move. Not only this, he then punishes the player, performing a highly damaging combo to go on and beat him to progress to the finals. The moment caused waves amongst the crowd, with people going crazy and the clip still to this day being shared as a unique moment in gaming history.
