THE NORTH RIDING PROJECT

The scenes were shot with real skydiving nuns in Spain.  I had met these nuns a few years ago while living in Peru.  One of the nuns was related to a woman I was friends with named Torta.  She was a great cook and she used to walk an invisible dog.  She introduced me to her sister whom I later used in the skydiving sequence.  It was 120 degrees when we filmed this sequence.  It all seems like a hallucination now.
